Exclusive Insurance Leads
There's so much more to an insurance agent's job than just spending hours and hours of your work day looking for leads. Your primary role is to close sales and nurture your customers towards a buying decision, but so many agents have very little time to close because they have to spend so much of their day looking for new leads in order to meet their bottom line.
Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Insurance Leads
Even though the legislation governing the health insurance industry is constantly changing and evolving, there is one thing that will stay constant for as long as Medicare Original is the plan of choice for Medicare eligible seniors - Medigap remains one of the most sought after options for seniors.
Live Transfer Insurance Leads
There are few things as displeasing as not having your calls returned. Wasting precious time trying to contact a lead that just isn't interested, or just doesn't have the time to reply to you. Life transfer insurance leads takes away this displeasing part of your job, making it that much easier to close sales. Instead of waiting for your calls to be returned, these leads are transferred to you directly when they request the assistance of an agent.
Sample Phone Scripts for Calling Leads
Connecting with prospects online is all about providing leads with convenience while guiding them to a buying decision. Good telephone etiquette is one more way in which you can meet their expectations and nurture them.
Breaking the Ice:
“Hi, is Tom X available please? Thank you. Hi Tom, my name is Joe Agent. I work for AgencyY and am calling regarding your online request for insurance information.”
The prospect would reply, and you could then respond in a favorable and polite manner. You may then proceed as follows:
“Based on the information you’ve provided on the web, I understand that you are in need of…” at which point you would proceed with a concise explanation of your understanding of the client’s needs. This is to ensure that you truly understand what they want.
Taking it Further:
The client confirms that your understanding is accurate. You may proceed in the following way:
“Well, Mr X, I have narrowed down your options to a few plans that seem to fit your requirements. Would you like to discuss the details now?”
And of course if they respond favorable, you may discuss the various options with them.
Follow Through:
If you are not able to discuss the details immediately, you will need to schedule a follow up phone call:
“No problem. I can follow up with you later, when would be a good time for me to call you again?”
If the response is slightly delayed or hesitant: “Would next Wednesday afternoon be suitable to you?”
Close With a Positive Message:
When you close the conversation, you want to remind the prospect that you are available at all times to assist them if they have any questions or concerns:
“Thank you, Tom. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Remember that I’m here to assist you at any time.”
Of course the above sample script is to be used as a possible template, but a phone call could lead you in any number of directions. The key is to remember that Internet leads want convenience and someone who they can rely on when they need assistance. Let them feel like you are there to guide them and that you have their best interests at heart at all times, and they will be more willing to listen to you and accept what you offer them.
